Bible Studies And Events

SUNDAY MORNINGS (9:45-10:45 AM)

Sunday mornings are a great chance to connect with one another and dig deeper into the Bible! Grab a doughnut from the coffeehouse, then hang out with friends and study God’s word. Middle school and high school meet separately.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS (7:00-8:30 PM)

Gather together with friends for pizza and games, followed by worship and Christ-centered, student-oriented preaching from the Bible. Students split into small groups by grade and gender for a time of discussion afterward. It’s a mid-week refocusing on Jesus while having some serious fun!

FRIDAY NIGHTS (6:30 – 8:20 PM)

During the school year – AWANA YM (Youth Ministry) at church from 6:30 pm – 8:20 pm.

MONTHLY FUN NIGHTS

Last Wednesdays of every month, 7:00-8:30 p.m.

Join us for fun nights where there’s a large scale game and theme nights. Intended for students to have a safe and enjoyable time with other students.

FALL RETREAT

November weekend event (Friday-Sunday).

Hosted annually at Camp Cho-Yeh, our students enjoy a weekend away from the normality of life for rest and recuperation where they can  refocus and reevaluate their spiritual lives. Students spend time with their friends in an environment that facilitates fun, community building, and spiritual growth.

The 2024 Fall Retreat is from Friday, November 8th through Sunday, November 10th. More information to be announced.

ONE WEEKEND

February weekend event (Friday-Sunday)

Students of Grace partners with other local youth ministries for corporate worship and learning. This event also includes serving the local community with other para-church organizations and other non-profits in Richmond and Rosenberg.

SUMMER MISSIONS TRIP

July or June week-long event (Sunday-Friday) featuring GCBC’s missions partner, Galveston Urban Ministries (GUM) serving the North Broadway neighborhood of Galveston Island.

Our students partner annually with Galveston Urban Ministries (GUM) in serving North Broadway and other neighborhoods throughout Galveston Island and beyond. Students also gain in-depth and practical insights into serving those who are considered impoverished. In doing so, their eyes are opened to the true meaning of poverty. Their perspectives are changed for eternity through service and learning. Daily ministries include physical service projects, children’s minsitry outreach, and community block parties within the neighborhood.

LOCAL COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS

Throughout the school year usually on Saturdays on a bimonthly basis.

Students of Grace serves local ministries, para-church organizations, and other non-profits. Each service project provides students the ability to live out their Christian lives as Christ’s “hands and feet” to our community. Great opportunities for required student service hours.
