Children’s Ministry At Grace

We look forward to meeting you and your children! Our purpose is to teach children that God loves them, to help them grow in their faith, and to encourage them to serve in the church and community. It’s our hope that by equipping children with biblical truths, they will desire to be obedient to God and will have a love for Him that will remain throughout their lifetime. (John 3:16)

At Grace we believe God gives parents the primary responsibility to facilitate the spiritual growth of their children, however we would love to partner with you on this adventure!

Wee Care

Nursery and toddler care is available for birth through four years old during our Sunday morning services at 8:30 am and 11:00 am and during the Sunday School hour. Simple Bible concepts are shared with preschoolers in a loving, child-friendly environment.

Registration and Security

New families are required to register their children by completing a simple form with their basic information. All families of infants and toddlers must be signed in at the Nursery by a parent or other adult family member when being dropped off. The safety of all the children at Grace is a priority for us. All nursery and toddler workers are carefully screened and those who are 18 years of age or older must pass a background check.

Sunday Morning Programs For Children At Grace

FIRST SERVICE
8:30am – 9:30am
During first service, all children four years old and older attend service with their families.

SUNDAY SCHOOL HOUR
9:45am – 10:45am
This program is for children who are Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade. The classes are divided into the following groups:

Pre-Kindergarten through 1st grade

2nd and 3rd grade

4th through 6th grade

The children meet with their teacher and then participate in a time of worship. At the conclusion of worship time, the children go to their classrooms for an interactive, in-depth Bible lesson.

SECOND SERVICE
11:20am – 12:00pm
During the second service, children attend adult worship with their families. Before the sermon begins, children four years old through 4th grade have the option to go to Children’s Church. During Children’s Church, the children watch a Bible based DVD and work on activity sheets. However, all children are encouraged to attend Sunday School which is offered from 9:45am to 10:45am.

Vacation Bible School

Each summer we offer Vacation Bible School for children ages 4 through 6^th grade. VBS lasts for 4 days from 9am to 12pm. The children participate in a variety of theme-related and fun Bible-based activities, which includes games, snacks, crafts, skits, and Bible lessons. Our next VBS theme in 2025 is Answers In Genesis’ Wonder Junction.
